Irixi's 40G QSFP+ AOC (Active Optical Cable) offers customers 40 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity options and links up to 150m transmission distance over multi-mode fiber (MMF). The module receivers 4 channels of 10.3125 Gb/s electrical data, in turn, the integrated 4 channels VCSEL driver converts each channel of the 10G electrical signals to optical signal then into the 4 channels VCSEL Array. Oppositely, the receiver side receives 4 channels of 10.3125 Gb/s multi-mode optical signals, which are converted to electrical signals by a 4 channels PIN Array then flow into a 4 channels TIA. All of the 4 electrical signals are feed to LA that provides limiting amplification so as to provide a parallel stream of outgoing electrical data signals. The product complies with the QSFP+ MSA, and IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE-SR4 as well as the RoHS-6 Directive 2011/65/EU6. The product is a reliable, cost and power efficient, integrated solution which is ideal for high density signal transmission typically seen in most storage, data centers and high-performance computing applications.
